Animal Posters
Topps released this series of Animal Posters in 1981. There were 12 in the set, each measuring 12" by 20".
Topps must have been catering to either the girl or the young child market when they released this small and unadorned poster set. Each poster came folded in a colorful wrapper, resembling a small bag, for 25 cents with no gum. Each poster was numbered. The images were not bordered or captioned. The subjects included such baby animals as puppies, kittens, lion cubs, rabbits, etc.
May also be known as 'Cute 'N Cuddly Animal Posters.'
Value: Each poster in Excellent condition (condition-conscious collectors may reject the idea that any poster could be Near-Mint, given that they were offered folded) may bring around $1.00. A set of 12 may bring between $8.00 and $12.00.
