The Black Hole
Topps produced their card set of The Black Hole in 1979, to coincide with the release of the Walt Disney Productions sci-fi film.
The card set consists of 88 regular cards (including one checklist) and 22 stickers.
The card fronts feature a photo still from the film, surrounded by a purple 'starry' border. The card title sits along the bottom in
yellow lettering, while the card number can be found within a small orange block shaped like the robot Maximillian from the film.
The backs feature either puzzle pieces, which can be combined to form three separate puzzles, or one of 19 story summaries. There
are also four cards which show a preview of the finished puzzles. Likewise, the stickers also feature puzzle pieces, with two
showing a preview of the finished puzzle.
Value: Plentiful and not in great demand, this card set can usually be found for less than $20.00, making it an affordable addition
to science-fiction or 70's card collections.
