Blackstone's Magic Tricks

Blackstone's Magic Tricks Philadelphia Gum released this card set in 1962. There were 24 folder-cards in the set, each measuring 2-7/16" by 3-1/2".

Released in 5-cent packages of Magic Trick Bubble Gum, these cards were actually folded little pamphlets that provided to the secret behind specific close-up illusions, as presented by Harry Blackstone, the 'Dean of Magicians.' Each numbered card featured one colored page, the 'cover,' which gave the set name, the card title, the card number, and a brief illustration of the trick to be performed. In addition to this, each pack also contained the small card or other item to be used in the illusion (unnumbered).
