Grease cards Topps released its Grease trading card series in 1978, in two sets of 66 cards and 11 stickers each.

The cards were issued to cash in on the success of the hit movie Grease of that year, starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John.

The first series cards had pink borders with a large photo still from the film in the middle, along with a small Grease logo at the bottom left (also containing the card number) and the card's caption beside that. The stickers were blue-bordered with 'perforations' on the sides to simulate a strip of film. The card backs consisted of 44 puzzle pieces and 22 Movie Facts text pieces, each within a colorful border showing the Grease logo at the top and caricatures of Travolta and Newton-John near the bottom.

The second series had green borders and were otherwise designed identically. The backs again featured 44 puzzle pieces, but also 17 Story Summary text blocks and 5 promotional backs.
