Rat Patrol

Rat Patrol cards The Rat Patrol trading card set was produced by 1966. It dealt with the TV series about a small mobile military unit patrolling the deserts of North Africa during World War II. The set contained 66 cards and 22 die-cut military insignia rings.

The card fronts were simple, showing only a large color photo still from the TV series surrounded by a white border. Card backs featured a puzzle piece, separated by a thick color border showing the puzzle number. The rest of the card back was a white text area, giving the card number and a brief synopsis of the action shown in the front photo.

The insignia rings, inserted one per pack, are much more difficult to find than the cards. As such, they are much more expensive to obtain on the after-market.

Therefore, the set price generally does not include the insignia rings.
