Space: 1999 dealt with a space station on Earth's Moon, which has been hurled into space by a nuclear explosion. The show was syndicated in the U.S. between 1975 and 1977. Although a British production, stars Martin Landau and his wife Barbara Bain were American; but many British stars made appearances throughout the show's run, including Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, Patrick Troughton, and Brian Blessed.
Card fronts were bordered in white, featuring a sleek, 'futuristic' design. A color photo still from teh TV series was offset by a thin black line, and the card number and title were superimposed over the photo in either black, white, or blue lettering. The Space: 1999 logo with a red and blue stripe was at the bottom.
Card backs were puzzle pieces.
